The Greek Banking Institutions do not face any problem, ensured the Chairman of Central Bank of Greece Mr. Georgios Provopoulos, however he prompted again the Credit Institutions to proceed to synergies since as he said, "there are tendencies and pressure for strategic alliances in the Greek Banking sector." Regarding the financial crisis in Greece he expressed the conviction that the country will achieve the objective of reducing the deficit without taking any additional measures of austerity within 2010.
